Napa Valley Unified School DistrictRecommended Literature Reading List: Pre-K through Grade 12. NAPA VALLEY UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICTThanks to the passage of Prop 30, and state funding for schools being more secure, the Board of Trustees for the NVUSD approved the reinstatement of three school days for this year's calendar. Please mark your calendars for the return of these school days: Friday, March 22, 2013 Friday, May 17, 2013 Friday, May 24, 2013 The return of these three school days will enhance instructional time. This allows for the continuation of the great work being done for our children. Our employees will work an additional day on June 6th.
In January, after the Governor's budget is released, we will notify you of any updates to the 2013-14 school calendars. We ask that you continue to promote excellent school attendance for your children. Students who are present learn more.
